Anime Review: Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust

This is the second film of the Vampire Hunter D franchise and follows the main character D, a Dhampir (half human, half vampire), hunting his own kind for a high price. This film, I must say is really a refreshing visual feast, it possesses many different exciting and gripping parts with stunning animation. The storyline was good however most people who have seen this movie agree that the 1985 film (the first film) had a better storyline, but this one was pretty solid. Its use of animation style, music choice, and action choreography make for excellent scenes in an incredible piece of film. The character design is also amazing when compared to the 1985 version. D's character design severely improved, going from the 1985 blue outfit with brown hair, to the black outfit with black hair, which was more like how the graphic novel describes him. More information is also added in this film about subjects that were not covered in the first film, like the classification of D's left hand. This film in my opinion, gets, on a scale from 1 to 10,

an 8.9.

The Colossal Hit: Attack On Titan

You may or may not have heard of this anime, but if you haven't  this is definitely something worth looking into. The story describes a world inhabited by humans and giant man-eating humanoid creatures called titans. Humans were forced to barricade themselves into three giant walls to escape the titans' wrath. The anime has 25 episodes in its first season and has become the biggest anime of 2013-14. The series is right now only in Japanese, but an English dubbing of the first episode will premiere at Anime Boston in March 21-23. This anime is definitely worth watching and is epic from episode to episode. Be the next viewer of the growing anime phenomenon known as Attack On Titan.

Resident evil 6, Salvation? Armageddon? Afterbirth? which will it be?

Ever since the successful release of Resident Evil Retribution, the sixth and final film has been planned to be directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, scheduled for September 12, 2014 and starring Milla Jovovich, that's all fine and good but what will it be called. The sixth film has many names, it originally was called Resident Evil 6, then was changed to Resident Evil Armageddon, rumors on IMDb have called it Resident Evil Afterbirth, and now on reliable sites, the film has been named Resident Evil Salvation, I'm not sure which one will be used but in my opinion the films subtitle should be decided by the fans and which ever one gets the most votes is the one that will be used. The running time for the film has also been estimated to be 140 minutes, the equivalent to two hours and twenty minutes making it the longest film in the series, beating the first film by thirty nine minutes. The film's budget has also been estimated to be 90 million, making it the most expensive film in the series, defeating the fifth film by 25 million. This will be the mother of all Resident Evil films and  the film that is destined to go out with a bang.

The Mark of DC: Batkid, Batman/Superman movie, Assault on Arkham

Within the past weeks and throughout the next three years, DC comics will leave more of it's influence on the world, First, a young boy was given his greatest dream after he reached the milestone of 5 years old despite have Cancer since he was born, he was given the chance to be his favorite hero, Batman he became Batkid and helped Batman actors fight criminals in a Gotham city built over a section of San Francisco. This boy's dream was realized and could fight alongside his favorite hero. Second DC comics has plans for a crossover film between Batman and Superman, the actor to play Batman is most likely going to be Ben Affleck. DC has not decided who will play Superman. Finally the Batman Arkham video game franchise has become so popular that DC has planned to make an animated movie based off of the games, The film will be called Batman: Assault on Arkham. These are just some of the many projects DC has planned for the future.

Injustice Gods Among us: Ultimate Edition

The exciting Superhero one-on-one fighting game you love is now going to be fully loaded. Injustice Gods Among us: Ultimate edition takes the original Injustice you know and love and adds new, more interesting features. The outline of this game will be discussed in 3 main points, first the new DLCs, Second, the new feature skins, and finally the brand new S.T.A.R. labs missions. This game features 6 new downloadable characters including Zatanna, Lobo, Scorpion, Batgirl, Martian Manhunter, and General Zod, In my opinion this is perfect for those of you who have the original game but cannot get the DLCs for some reason, this games already gives the characters to you as a player which I feel is awesome. Next, the new skins, everyone who owns the original Injustice knows what these skins are, but for people who do not, allow me to tell you; the skins given in this game include but are not limited to: The Man of Steel movie skin for Superman, Teen Titans skins for Cyborg, Raven, and Deathstoke, Arkham City skins for Batman, Catwoman and Joker, Killing Joke skins for Joker and many more. These skins from my point of view is a great improvement to the game, now fans can have many different skins to choose from for their character. Finally, The 60 S.TA.R. labs missions, seeing how there are new characters, there should be more Missions for them right? Well that's exactly what the makers have done, adding new missions to the game, and in my opinion, Strengthening its awesomeness. As for Zombie Mode I am not sure if it will be in the game but it should. The game will be on the shelves on November 12 and 29 for $59.99, Get it and have fun.

Bat in the Sun's Superpower Beatdown

The Internet has many shows from Comedy to Romance to action to talk shows to everything in between, but for fans of who would win battles, my recommended show for hero face-off fans is Bat in the Sun's Superpower Beat down, the show that takes two super powered legends and makes them fight. Superpower Beat down has its similarities and differences compared to other face-off shows. For example, the show is similar to shows like Deadliest Warrior where the fight is performed by actors and is different from shows like Death Battle where the fight is performed through computer animation. The Winner is decided by which fighter gets the most votes from fans on their website. In My opinion the show is very exciting and really fun to watch. DBZ: Battle of Gods update and Battle of Z announcement

To update my previous information regarding Dragon ball Z: Battle of Gods, I have found out that to release the film over to the U.S. the film must be picked up by Fox in order to allow the American producers and directors to dub the movie in English. This is a process that can be very easy or can take years for a film to be released overseas. The date for the release of the film into the United States has not been officially confirmed but is estimated to be in 2014, hopefully it will be released soon so us fans will not have to wait any longer. Next, I ask you, how would you like to be able to play as all your favorite Dragon ball Z characters as well as Super Saiyan god Goku, and Bills, the God of destruction? well there is a new video game coming out in Japan that will allow this to come true. The newest DBZ game planned in Japan is called Dragon ball Z: Battle of Z, and will include the two new characters from the movie Battle of Gods. This game features the ability to run and allow other fighters in a team to fight a giant character at once creating a interactive battle that's more like the show then any other DBZ video game. The game also allows eight fighters in one battle and each character can work together and heal one another. This game also has special DLCs including Super Vegito, Super Saiyan Bardock, and for a 1 day edition special DLC, Goku in Naruto's Sage Mode outfit. The Game's release date is set for March 31, 2014, hope you DBZ fans are up for the battle.
